Give grace to those who seek Whose soul is found among the meek Their body laid out among the weak A life that may never get to peak Bring hope to those who fail Who may never sing their tale They’re to carry an empty pail A strife forever keeping them in jail Drop around

Then and Now

Quickly now, off you go Explore the world you don’t know Keep him close, keep him safe Mind the mob, safety seek ‘fore they strafe Foreign world from which I grew Today is known to each askew Will they know it as a haze? Can it be their never-ending maze? Once known for its majesty

Am I the only one worried about the state of the world? I know I’m not, but how come violence has to be the answer? I don’t know how many agree with what I think, I don’t know how many would stand up to it, Then and Now.
